Why I love a bedspread on my super king size bed

Call me old fashioned but I love a bedspread!

I have a super king sized bed that I wouldn’t give up for all the tea in China. And I love a bedspread! They are so versatile. In the winter it’s an extra layer to keep you warm, and in the summer you can sleep with just the bedspread.

Not only are they versatile but they also hide a multitude of sins. You can have a grotty old duvet underneath but no one would know if you have a pretty bedspread on the top!

Bedspreads are a great way to change the theme of your room without spending too much money

You don’t need to change all your bedding and curtains, you can just choose a pretty bedspread and you’re away!

You can buy bedspreads – super king size at sale prices from Yorkshire Linen online from as little as £27.99 – a bargain! There are several options to choose from – you won’t be disappointed

Obviously they come in a range of styles to suit all tastes

For a country cottage effect I’d choose a quilted bedspread with a floral pattern, or for a more modern room perhaps a glittery or shiny bedspread would suit? A thicker bedspread for the winter for those chilly, winter nights and a lighter weight one for the summer.

The choice is yours!

Your bedroom decor is very important

It affects your mood and how you sleep. And how you sleep affects your mood! Make sure you get it right. I like a calming bedroom so choose pastel colours. I spend a fair amount of time in bed, but not nearly as much time as I would like.

We love our super kind bed as the whole family can get in for a snuggle on lazy Sunday mornings. In fact our bed is the heart of our home I would say!
