Regular readers of my blog will know I am a huge fan of Wowwee’s Fingerlings and the Fingerlings Elephant is no exception
The Fingerlings Elephant itself is very cute. It is a solid plastic apart from its ears that are more rubbery and it has a sweet little tuft of hair on top of its head.
When you get the elephant out of the box and turn it on (yes, as with all Fingerlings it comes complete with batteries, hurrah!) it says “Hello” and makes a trumpeting noise.
Fingerlings Elephants are lovely interactive pets
As with the previous Fingerlings they respond to touch and sound with their “magic motion sensor”. Fingerlings also react to you clapping your hands or tapping their head. If you hang them upside down they act silly.
Fingerlings Elephants do different tricks
You can cradle them to make them sleepy, stroke their head and they will show you love, press each side of their head and they will give you a surprise *spoiler* they fart!
As a new feature, in addition to the above you can also record your voice
If you press next to their left ear (right as you are looking at them) for 2 seconds your Fingerlings Elephant will say “huh?” and and then you talk. It will repeat what you say in a funny voice.
Fingerling Elephants come in two colours
We received Fingerlings Elephant Nina, who is pink. There is also a blue version called Gray (which I think is a bit odd but still).
What do we think of the Fingerlings Elephant?
We love it! The voice play back is a fun little addition – as we have said previously they are great toys for kids of all ages (including big kids like Mum, Dad and even Granny!). You get a lot of toy for your cash in my humble opinion. I have my eye on the fox one next….
Fingerlings Elephants have a RRP of £16.99 and are available from all good toys shops and from Amazon using this affiliate link:
