Father’s Day is fast approaching so I have compiled a handy gift guide for every type of dad…and mum – because some dad’s are a bit crap and mum deserves the credit!

I can vividly remember going to see Ghostbusters as a child (and being scared stiff) so these Ghostbuster Playmobil figures are right up my retro street. This set smells gorgeous and I am assured does the job it is supposed to! It is powered by malt extract and there is a duo of each product to include “matching” face wash and moisturiser. This year they have also introduced a new citrus beard and face wash to compliment the citrus range.

I was particularly pleased to read that they are not tested on animals.

For the adventurous dad

For the foodie: Beautifully Handcrafted Thai Coconut Bowls

They add an extra special touch to your thai curry as you can see from the photos (not my photos, I wish I was that professional) – or even your cereal in the morning!

Personal Alarm

Not all Father’s – or Mother’s – Day gifts have to be something that’s nice to have. Instead, you might need to get some practical gifts. At some point, these could be items that make their lives a little safer and easier. A GPS personal alarm can be recommended if your parents are in their later years.

These let you make sure they’re safe and sound, no matter where you – or they – are. It’ll provide a little extra comfort to everyone if your parents start needing a bit of extra help. While it mightn’t be the shiniest of Father’s Day gift ideas, it can be a practical one.
