These days a lot of us are guilty of taking lots of photos every day. We carry them around with us on our phones but that is where they stay, or at least they do in my case.
Years ago we had to have them developed in order to look at them, once developed we could choose to frame them. I still have a collage that my friend made for me for my 21st which contained a lot of photos that I won’t be sharing here for various reasons! I have lots of, quite frankly, beautiful photos of my family on days out that only get looked at again a year later when they pop up in my “on this day” and that is a real shame.
When MYPICTURE asked if I would like to work with them I jumped at the chance because it meant I would have to choose a couple of pictures that could be displayed. I went back a year looking for my favorites and here they are:
MYPICTURE framed picture
I actually gave this framed photograph to my Mum for Mother’s Day (that’s her in the photo in case there was any doubt), she was delighted. I think it’s a gorgeous photo of her and my two boys. It was taken on a day out at our favourite place to visit, Riverhill Himalayan Gardens.
No, none of them are in their finest clothes. They aren’t all looking at the camera either but it captures them as they are, a grandmother and her two grandsons, happily sitting on a bench together.
You can choose various different sizes to suit your framed photograph from 20cm x 20cm up to 80cm x 60cm as well as different frames. I chose Walnut Flair (or brown, to me) but there is also black, white, silver and a light oak colour.
MYPICTURE standard photo pillow
I love this photo of my two boys. It shows just how they are together, Big L is a fab big brother and Little L looks so happy in the swing boat. This was another photo taken at Riverhill Himalayan Gardens.
With the photo cushions you can choose standard or premium. This is the standard photo cushion which comes with the insert. It’s a shiny, satin material and the photo has a border where the premium cushion has a “plush surface”, is hand sewn and has a full area print, no border. The picture quality on the standard photo pillow is lovely and bright and it’s nice and plump.
MYPICTURE MIXPIX
Lastly I chose some MIXPIX. These are great 20cm x 20cm lightfoam tiles that attach by magnet. The idea being you attach the magnet to where you want to display the photos and you can easily mix up your pics as and when you like by simply removing the pic and replacing it with another.
I really like the idea of these as you can mix them up whenever you feel like it. You might want to have festive ones at Christmas or holiday ones during the Summer months. Or you might just get bored and change them weekly! The choice is yours. You can choose plain ones, like I have, or add a frame for an additional cost.
The MYPICTURE website is really simple to use, you just upload your chosen photos and away you go! There are lots of different items to choose from as well as the ones I chose like mousemats, blankets, canvas prints and so on. I found ours to be great quality, nice and sharp and bright and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
