Now, Monsieur Incidental is no Freddie Flintoff
Or Johnny Vegas for that matter, so when we were asked if he’d like to review clothes for Jacamo we thought “they only make clothes for ‘Big & Tall men'” – we were wrong.
Monsieur Incidental is tall but not of epic proportions. He can buy clothes in most shops so he’s never thought of buying from Jacamo before but he certainly will again.
Jacamo actually seems to cater for most sizes, you don’t have to be big… or tall
As Spring is approaching Monsieur Incidental opted for a pair of jeans, a new white shirt for work and a pair of walking boots.
First of all the Crosshatch Jackanory jeans
These are by Crosshatch. Jacamo stock jeans for every budget, and we opted for some in the middle of the range at around £40. They are slightly wider leg than he would usually wear but they fit nicely and are a good length. They are a good colour for Spring too, being slightly lighter than his other jeans.
The white shirt
White shirts have a tendency to go a bit off colour after a while, don’t they? Even whitening additives don’t seem to help. If you hold a new white shirt next to an older one you are always horrified. So, even though Monsieur Incidental’s older shirts are still in decent condition they are slightly off colour. This shirt is a reasonable price, the quality is good and the fit is nice.
I have had a pair of walking boots for years. I wear them most days on the school run – don’t laugh it’s a mile each way. They are comfortable and a godsend.
Having two young boys we try to go out for long walks so when we saw that Jacamo stock Walking boots Monsieur Incidental jumped at the chance of getting some for himself.
He’s worn them twice this weekend. Once to a local farm and also to Ightham Mote. They were worn without any grumbles and no rubbing for a good few miles and hours. What more could you want?!
If accessories are your thing, then you can’t go wrong with a nice watch like this one from Patek Nautilus
