A Peppa Pig celebration cake from Brigit’s bakery

You have probably heard of Brigit’s Bakery, in fact I’ve been hankering over one of the afternoon tea bus tours myself (once all this is over), well they’ve started a Bake Club. You can choose to follow the recipes yourself via the app, trust me they make it really easy, or you can opt to have the box of ingredients delivered to your door. All pre weighed all you have to do is provide the implements and follow the app.

Brigit’s Bake Box arrives in a sturdy box with the chilled ingredients in a cool bag so you can pop then straight into the fridge until you’re ready to bake. I made ours at the weekend and it was easier than I thought, I did adapt a few things but it turned out really well and your kids will love it! Check out my instagram for the finished article!

The Peppa Pig Celebration cake is a one off £23.95  or £22.95 if you subscribe to the monthly bake club

Celebrate springtime with Round Corner Brewing beers

Round Corner Brewing has cornered six of its hoppiest beers into a fantastic Easter gift pack. The six represent the very best of the brewery – which is based in the country’s oldest market, in the centre of the UK’s ‘rural food capital’, Melton Mowbray.  Melton’s the only place that’s home to two protected origin foodstuffs – the eponymous pork pie and stilton cheese (the ‘round corner’ of which the brewery’s named after).

The brewery has created a twelve pack for Spring and Easter featuring two of each beautifully crafted beer for £30.00 from

Get creative (and clean) with So Bomb DIY

We loved making these bath bombs. It was so easy and actually not too messy which I was pleased about. All you have to do is add a little water, mix the ingredients and layer them up to create your desired pattern in the mould. They come with one light which you hide in one of the bombs and is activated when in the water. The boys loved it.

The 2 pack of So Bomb RRP £6.99 and is available from toyshops and Amazon

A zingy springtime tea towel

After an Easter roast someone has to wash up and dry, why not make that job a little more pleasant with a new Izzy & Oliver tea towel? With it’s fresh yellow and green decoration it is perfect for the spring.

Willow Tree Bountiful 2021 figurine

We love Willow Tree figurines, in fact my mum has a few (I may have mentioned that before) so she will be delighted with this one. Having a dated piece can mean different things to different people. Maybe 2021 will be a year you get married, a new job or have a baby. For us we are hoping that 2021 brings new beginnings for our family. It has been a hard year for everyone.

There are lots of different figurines available Bountiful 2021 RRP £27.00 from
