Brio Light and Sound Fire Truck – Review

That is the sound Little L makes while playing with the Brio Light and Sound Fire Truck. He LOVES it!

He takes the little fireman figures out of their spot in the truck, grabs the hose, hoists up the ladder and puts out imaginary fires.

When the fire is out you can wind the yellow button on the top, reel in the hose and the firepeople can go back to the fire station for a rest before the next emergency!

I always associated Brio with wooden train sets like the Brio Classic Train we reviewed recently

It is the usual good quality that you expect from Brio and with a RRP of £24.99 an affordable present for those emergency service mad toddlers!

The Fire Truck itself is made from plastic and the two figures are wooden.

Little L’s favourite bits about Brio Light and Sound Fire Truck

The NEE NAW sound – on the plus side for parents it isn’t too loud, thanks Brio

The lights – they make it more realistic

The hose – he loves pretending to hose down PSHHHHH

The figures – Little L is really getting into imaginative play lately so the figures get up to all sorts of mischief, sometimes involving dinosaurs!

What I like about the Brio Light and Sound Fire Truck

It’s well-built and withstands being chucked around by a clumsy two-year old (and his big brother)

It’s not too loud, so many noisy toys are just too…noisy

It keeps Little L busy and supports imaginative play. One minute he’s putting out fires, the next they are going to tea with zoo animals

It all clips back together apart from one of the figures so you’re less likely to lose parts

I would happily reccomend the Fire Truck for any toddlers who are equally as entralled by the emergency services or vehicles in general and I think Little L would too.
