We were sent the Post Office for this review. All opinions are my own
The Casdon Post Office is a great toy and really gives you your money’s worth
I had great fun setting this up for the kids to play with. It is a bit fiddly so small children will need assistance but after that they will have hours of role playing, educational fun. The RRP is £12 and you get a lot of toy for that in my opinion.
What’s in the Casdon Post Office box?
The box contains all the parts to make the post office. It comes all neatly packed and you will need to put it all together.
- Stamp and pad
- Magazine rack
- Greeting Cards
- Money – coins and notes
- Pad and pencil
- Application forms for driving licence, television licence and passport
- Parcels to weigh
What age is the Casdon Post Office aimed at?
Casdon Post Office is aimed at children of 3 and over. I would suggest that 3 year olds will need supervision as there are lots of bits that could get lost and torn. Reception age children would probably be fine. That said this is a great toy to encourage imagination and to learn about money, how to count and so on.
What did we think of Casdon Post Office?
We have had a Casdon toy Dyson for several years (at least 5) and it has lasted two fairly boisterous boys so we know it is decent quality and made to last. I loved putting the Post Office together, I had a toy supermarket as a kid and this brought back many happy memories. In fact I think my old supermarket might be in the loft at my mums house….
I think the Casdon Post Office has loads of detail, the magazines, cards and application forms look like the real thing. I particularly like the magazine featuring a very young David Beckham!
