Believe it or not, I am currently sat typing this while cycling on the V9 Pro Flexispot Cycle Desk!
Yes, me! Cycling while typing. I didn’t think I could do it but it actually can be done, check me out. So, lets talk about the bike itself.
Part standing desk, part exercise bike the bike and desk attachment arrive in two parcels. The bike needs to be put together but it is simple, it’s heavy but I managed to do it by myself in a couple of minutes.

The main thing for me is it doesn’t have a huge footprint and is on wheels, which is really important for me as we have a small house and not much space. The desk moves forwards and backwards as well as up and down for for comfort but it also aids storage. Once I’m finished using it I simply move the desk in and down and wheel it to one side.
The saddle is large and well padded which, those of you who know me know is important. I have a fistula which means sitting can be painful. I’ve not been able to sit on a bike for four years or more and I was worried about this but here I am, 3 kilometers in since I started writing this!
You can adjust the height of the Flexispot V9 Pro Cycle Desk saddle, obviously, thanks to its pneumatic adjustment lever. You want to get the height right so you don’t put too much pressure on your knees. We have found it to be a good height for the majority of the family, Big L who is ten is just the right size however Little L, almost six, is too short.
You can adjust the resistance, I find if it is too low my legs run away with themselves!
The integrated digital display switches between time, distance, calories and speed and memorizes it for next use, however you can reset it by holding down the button.
Lastly, the battery case is covered by a non slip rubber mat that doubles as a place to pop your drink!

What do we think of the Flexispot V9 Pro Cycle Desk?
I’m pleasantly surprised at the size of the bike. It is great that it can be used as a standing desk, an exercise bike or a desk bike. Working from home, as a lot of us do since lockdown, life has become much more sedentary. We aren’t walking to the bus stop or train station, between floors in offices, to the water cooler and it is taking its toll on our fitness. Having the option to sit and cycle while working is great for me.
