There are a lot of Marvel toys available these days but these Marvel Heroes of Goo Jit Zu are truly unique
We were sent Groot & Venom which I was pleased about as they are two of my favourites. Groot because it’s super cute and Venom because it’s Tom Hardy. Sadly he was unavailable, apparently.
Groot & Venom Marvels of Goo Jit Zu are about 12cm tall and 15cm wide so perfect for little hands aged 4 plus as well as grown ups who enjoy playing with toys, and who doesn’t?
First of all Marvels Of Goo Jit Zu Groot & Venom are reaaaallllly stretchy
We have had Groot & Venom for a few weeks and they have undergone vigorous testing by a 4 (almost 5) and 9 year old.
The only thing I have noticed is that Venom’s emblem on his chest has born the brunt and is wearing off.
Marvel Heroes of Goo Jit Zu are also well, gooey and have different fillings
Venom has black beads inside and Big L was really chuffed to find Groot has green leaves.

While they are super stretchy and can take a beating from over zealous children keep them away from animals who might chew and anything that might puncture them.
Of course superheroes tend to argue and fight and Marvel Heroes of Goo Jit Zu Groot and Venom are no exception
Little L is rooting for Venom and Big L thinks Groot will win. I think they will end up making friends and going for a drink together or maybe just a cup of tea and a biscuit, under the current circumstances.
Of course everyone who lives in this house has to pull their weight and, while the kids are at school Groot and Venom help out with chores.
Here they are arguing about filling up the bird feeder. Venom wants to eat all the birds, honestly, you can’t take Venom anywhere.
And here they are “helping” to hang the washing out – between you and me they are more of a hindrance.
I think Groot is beginning to find Venom a bit tedious, I hope they can learn to live together.

What do we think of Marcel Heroes of Goo Jit Zu?
After a couple of weeks they are still being played with, which is a good start! In my opinion they are a good price at £12.99 each. The only thing is that the emblem is wearing off of Venom’s chest but that doesn’t stop play. I actually like playing with them myself – they are a good stress buster!
