I love anything that invokes nostalgia and that is exactly what the Micro Machines toys do for me

My bestie had loads of Micro Machines way back in the 80s and I was really pleased to be able to review the new Micro Machines range with my sons.

For those of you who don’t remember them, either because you’re too young or maybe, like me, you’ve lost a few brain cells over the years Micro Machines are realistic vehicles, cars, planes, motorbikes and so on, but, well, micro!

Micro Machines are available in several different sets we were sent three for this review:

What did we think of our Micro Machines sets?

Micro Machines are aimed at children aged 4 and above. They’ll appeal to youngsters as well as those, like me, who remember them from their childhood. They are very collectable and I think they are a great price; I review a lot of toys and think these are great value for the money, especially when you compare them to blind bags and so on.

The Micro Machines are nicely detailed and seem robust enough to withstand some serious play!
