We love Brio and train sets in our house
We’ve previously reviewed a couple of Brio toys the Classic Train Set and Brio Light and Sound Fire Truck. The Brio brand is synonymous with quality and Brio is something I don’t think I’ll ever turn down to review. I was thrilled to be offered the Classic Figure 8 set.
What’s in the Brio Classic Figure 8 Set Box?
When you open the box you will find:
- 1 Train
- 2 Carriages
- 1 Station
- 3 Trees
- 1 Junction
- 14 Curved pieces of track
How to make your Brio Classic Figure 8 Set
The set is very easy to put together, the pieces slot together very smoothly. There are no rules as to where the station and trees go – use your imagination!
What age is Brio Classic Figure 8 Train Set aimed at?
It’s aimed at children over he age of 2 years, but children will be playing with the train set for years to come. I’m not saying that I like to play with the trains and make choo choo noises, but….
What did we think of the set?
We had two excited little boys when we opened the box. Both Big L who is 7 and Little L, who is almost 3, loved it. Although Little L does insist on demolishing the track so you have to put it back together over and over.
We like the fact that it is wooden. Natural products always seem much nicer, the quality is fabulous as you would expect from Brio. We love that fact that is it can be built up with other sets. In fact we have a track and trains that are compatible.
Where can you buy ?
The set retails at around £40 and is available from this affiliate link and other good toy shops
